I liked what Julie said today. She said, "I like Thanksgiving because it makes us realize how much we have to be thankful for." So true . . . we take so much for granted in the ordinary days of life. Mostly people we love and spend the greater part of life with in some degree or another. Do you ever notice that most people are thankful for people? People matter. That's why grace and forgiveness and "I'm sorry" and love and commitment and "I love you" and "I believe in you" and "I'm proud of you" and laughter and hugs matter in this world. Because they all have to do with the blessing of meaningful relationships. So, today I am thankful for the special people in my life . . . Julie is one of them!
