A lighter load...

Liberating. Cleansing. Simplifying.

These are a few of the words others have used when I describe to them what we have been doing for the past two weeks. The house is empty. Tonight Dennis and I spend our first night in the condo friends have so graciously offered us in this interim time.

Dennis and Clint (Jamie and Clint have been a huge help!), with the help of a few others, loaded a truck this morning and moved what possessions we kept to a nearby storage unit... 10x10... and we didn't even fill it. If we weren't sentimental we would have even less.

So, yes the load is lighter and it is liberating. Less to own. Less to maintain. Less to think about.

(And if anybody is wondering. Mike and Joni have not had their baby yet... three days over. I'll be sure to post when we get the news.)
