I love the sunshine, so this recipe does it for me during the sometimes dreary gray days of winter in Michigan. As my own tan lines fade, it's nice to know that some still get the sun (even if it's in the oven). Here's a new way to prepare your Thanksgiving Turkey, especially for you sun lover's out there.
1. Cut out aluminum foil in desired shapes.
2. Arrange the turkey in the roasting pan, position the foil carefully.
(see attached picture for details)
3. Roast according to your own recipe and serve.
4. Enjoy a sun lover's Thanksgiving . . .

Happy Thanksgiving

Gwen - that is so unexpected and oh so funny, thanks for sharing a laugh! Happy Thanksgiving:)
Thanks for the laugh, how hilarious! I want to know if you actually do that.
My oh my I would ever have expected this from you but what fun. It would be interesting to see if anyone actually does this and the peoples reactions.
Never done it, but thought it was so funny, thanks to our AU son-in-law who enjoys the sunshine, too. It'll be up to Dennis this year since he's the one that does the turkey.
Okay, guess I surprised some of you . . . for someone as serious as me, sometimes I have to keep in balance with looking at the lighter side of things :).
